Vintage from 1974 Painter: Gladys Leach Made in Ireland
Gladys Leach was a beloved Cork artist who specialised in line drawings of gracious historic buildings. In 1974 a limited edition book of her Cork drawings produced a special leather-bound book of drawings of Cork for the city’s 800th anniversary of its charter. Called The Scenery and Character of Cork, it sold out in 16 days. Gladys Leach Hyde died in 2014, aged 97. The painting is in excellent condition and there are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
