Carrigdhoun Pottery, also recognized as Carrigaline Pottery and Carrig Ware, had its beginnings in 1928. The company operated until 1980 when it underwent a transition under German ownership and was renamed Cork Art Pottery Limited. This entity, too, was eventually dissolved. In 1989, the pottery assumed the name Carrigaline Pottery Ireland Limited. Regrettably, it ceased operations around 2002.
